01The Memory
A deep, personal memory of choosing a path in life for someone else.
The film starts from a real feeling: picking a direction because of other people's expectations — and the self-doubt and pressure that follow — until healing finally comes through family understanding.
02The Story
A university student is pressured to study law to meet his family's expectations. The workload becomes overwhelming, and he collapses emotionally.
When his parents finally see what the pressure has done, the family reconciles — and the story moves from confusion to self-acceptance.
03The Characters
The Student
A lost university student struggling with identity and confidence.
The Lawyer
A strict lawyer with high expectations for his son.
The Nurse
Caring but emotionally reserved.
Symbol — a towering pile of law books represents the pressure. It grows, closes in, and finally shatters as the story turns.
04Key Frames
Expectation
Warm light, a proud family photo, and a desk that slowly fills with law books.
Pressure & Collapse
The palette turns cold and blue. The books become walls, and the room finally breaks apart.
Understanding
The door opens, light returns, and the family sits down together.
05Process
Memory to story
Turn a personal memory into a three-act story with a clear emotional arc.
Character design
Generate consistent anime-style character sheets for the student, father, and mother.
Scene generation
Compose each key frame from the characters and settings, using light and colour to carry the mood.
Edit & publish
Sequence the frames into the final animated short and publish it on YouTube.
Colour does most of the storytelling: warm amber for expectation and home, cold blue-grey for pressure and isolation, and warmth returning in the final scenes as the family reconnects.
